In V Rising, pollen is one of the latest new materials players can find and use for further crafting. There is only one way to get pollen in the game, so it should not be too difficult to track down. We will highlight how you can get pollen in the game and how to use the resource.

The Gloomrot Update in V Rising brings several new features. There are over a dozen new materials alongside new types of wood. It leads to new crafting recipes. All of it is on top of the new weapons, vampire powers, and cool new bosses to battle.

The V Rising pollen material comes from a singular and unsurprising source: flowers. Flowers are a resource you can collect from various areas. Sunflowers are in the Dunley Farmlands. Snow Flowers are in the region too, but you can also gather them in Silverlight Hills and Farbane Woods. If you don’t want to search in different areas, you can purchase and plant flower seeds on your own farm. Planting seeds is perhaps a more effective way to find and use pollen in V Rising.

Of course, you can’t just gather flowers and expect to have pollen. There is still another step in this process. By now, you probably have a Grinder. You get the blueprints for the workstation during the tutorial.

Thanks to the update, you can do new things at the Grinder. One of those things is gain pollen. To do so, follow the simple recipe below:

  • Pollen
    • x20 (Any) Flower

As long as you add a minimum of 20 flowers of any type, you can get a minimum of 10 V Rising pollen added to your inventory. If you have your own flower farm, this is an easy process. So, you can get all the pollen you need in no time.

How to Use Pollen in V Rising

Now that we know the source of V Rising pollen, we can figure out how you can use the resource. So far, we only need pollen in a single recipe in the game:

  • Coarse Thread
    • x16 Pollen | x12 Plant Fibre

Previously, Coarse Thread was a resource you only looted throughout the Dunley Farmlands. However, the update allows you to craft Coarse Thread rather than loot it from various battles. In turn, crafting equipment like the Fishing Pole and the Merciless Nightstalker gear set is easier.
