Cars have been added to Lego Fortnite with the Mechanical Mayhem update, finally making it no longer a pain to build vehicles with steering wheels. As an update focused on vehicles, new wheels, car parts, ready-made cars, and Power Cells, the vehicles’ engines were added to the game. To build these devices, we will need Biomass from the Compost Bin and Power Cells in Lego Fortnite.
How To Get (& Use) Compost Bin in Fortnite
First of all, to get a Power Cell in Lego Fortnite, we need Glass. There are two different ways we can get Glass. The first is to find Sand and turn it into Glass in the Metal Smelter. The second is to raid Bandit Camps and get Glass from the chests there. The first method is much more reliable and sustainable if you ask us.
Now that we know how to get Glass in Lego Fortnite, it’s time for Biomass. To get Biomass, we need x5 Plank, x2 Soil, x1 Sand, and x3 Fertilizer. Then, we should press the “Q” key to open the Build Menu and build a Compost Bin. We can throw all our garbage into the Compost Bin.
Because the garbage that is thrown into this bin will turn into Biomass, Fertilizer, or Soil after a while. But the best material we can use to produce Biomass is, in our opinion Bone. Because at night skeletons attack us a lot and we can collect Bone very easily.
Now that we have produced our Biomass using the Compost Bin in Lego Fortnite, we are ready to make a Power Cell. In Lego Fortnite, we need the Crafting Station to craft the Power Cell. It is enough for the Crafting Station to be Common, i.e., Tier 1, to craft Power Cells. After opening the Crafting Station, we can see the item in question by clicking on the Equipment section. In Lego Fortnite, we need x6 Glass and x50 Biomass to craft a Power Cell.

- In order to craft a Power Cell, we first need Glass. So we need to craft Shovel to dig Sand and turn it into Glass or raid Bandit Camps to get Glass.
- Then, after opening the Build Menu, we need to make a Compost Bin using Plank, Soil, Sand, and Fertilizer.
- We should preferably put Bone or unnecessary items in the Compost Bin. The items we put will randomly return to us as Biomass, Fertilizer, or Soil according to their rarity levels.
- Afterward, we can craft a Power Cell from the Crafting Station using the Biomass we have accumulated and the Glass we have obtained.
