You cannot passively regenerate Life during combat in Diablo 4, meaning you’ll need to do it yourself. Furthermore, there is no main healer class in Diablo 4, which means players don’t heal each other all the time. However, there are special self-heal skills for some classes in the game. Also, leveling up will instantly fully heal you and restore your primary energy resource. Since you have to pay attention to your Health or Life during a dungeon or raid, you need to learn how to heal yourself in the fastest and most practical way.

  • Life Steal

Life Steal refers to attacking an enemy with a weapon or skill that causes damage to drain Life from them. Life Steal allows you to drain a lot of health from the enemy and fills your health bar. The mechanics of a character that prioritizes melee attacks like Rogue are based on Life Stealing. You’ll need to use some specific skills or gear perks to use Life Steal.

  • Health Globes

In Diablo 4, monsters drop Health Globes that heal 10-15% of maximum Life if picked up. If you quickly destroy all enemies, your health will never decrease.

  • Shrines

There are Shrines in some parts of the map that restore all your health bar when you interact with them. To be able to use these Shrines again, you have to wait for them to recharge.

  • Healing Potions

In Diablo 4, the healing potions may be the most essential thing to prevent you from dying and decreasing your health. The primary life restoration method for every class is to use potions. These consumables instantly restore you to full health upon use. You can find healing potions by looting enemies or containers, or you can buy them from the vendor.

You start the game with a Weak Healing Potion and can carry a maximum of four. Once you get to level 10, you’ll unlock the Urgent Quest and visit Verdoka the Alchemist. She will allow you to upgrade your Weak Healing Potions to Tiny Healing Potions.

As your level increases, you can craft more powerful potions. However, you’ll need to learn how to upgrade more useful healing potions in Diablo 4. You can upgrade your potion quality every ten levels. When you reach level 90, you can craft the best healing potion, the Superior Healing Vial. You can increase the number of potions you can carry by earning Renown.
