The Dreadnought is one of the early boss fights you face in Deep Rock Galactic Survivor. For that reason, it may be difficult for some players to defeat and kill the monster. In this guide, we’ll cover what you should do and how to easily kill the Dreadnought in Deep Rock Galactic Survivor.

The Dreadnought is the boss fight you have to face at the final stage of Crystalline Caverns level. Before you reach that stage make sure to pick movement speed upgrades as well as health upgrades. Getting Cold damage would also make the boss fight far easier, so keep an eye on that.

When you reach the final stage there will be a bunch of Dreadnought eggs that you can destroy to summon the boss fight. However, it is best not to do that. The eggs will hatch eventually and killing the little bugs will make the boss summon nonetheless.

In the meantime what you must do is clear the piles of rocks and boulders to create a path for movement. The Dreadnought is a deadly boss if it gets you cornered and to avoid that you have to destroy rocks to always have a path for movement.

The Dreadnought itself is just another Elite enemy that happens to deal more damage. The only significant move it has is that it will stop for a few seconds and then jump over to stump you which can be easily avoided. The moment you see Dreadnought stop moving, it means it will jump on you so be careful. Otherwise, it will just follow you around to deal damage.

That’s where the speed movement upgrade and Cold damage come in handy. With the speed of movement, you can be sure that the Dreadnought won’t catch you and if you deal enough Cold damage it will freeze and slow them down.

For the rest of the fight, all you have to do is make sure you don’t get stuck and be on constant move. That is why you must remove as many blocks and stones as you can so you won’t get cornered by enemies and Dreadnought itself. Now to summarize everything:

  • Grab Movement and Health upgrades as well as Cold damage ability if you have one.
  • Don’t destroy the eggs, instead make sure to remove boulders and rocks to create room for movement.
  • Dreadnought will either follow you to deal damage or jump on top of you for stumping. Make sure you never stop moving to avoid getting killed.

Those were all the tips and strategies you needed to defeat the Dreadnought in Deep Rock Galactic Survivor. Make sure to check our website for more guides and articles as well.

Deep Rock Galactic Survivor is now available for PC.
