When you count the new expansion, Disney Dreamlight Valley has over one hundred recipes for players to craft. Cooking is an intricate part of the gameplay, and it ties in closely with many of Remy’s quests and gifts. Meals can range from intricate, 5-star meals like Fish Creole and Birthday Cake, to 1-star meals like Crackers and Crudites. While some of the meals may seem daunting at first, not every meal in Disney Dreamlight Valley is excruciatingly complex, and you can make quality meals with simple ingredients. The Danish – a 4-star dessert – is a fantastic example of this.

To make a Danish in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need:

  • 1x Wheat
  • 1x Butter
  • 2x Any Fruit

Butter is the easiest of these ingredients to get, since you can buy it in Remy’s restaurant for 190 coins. Wheat is also easy enough to get, since you can buy it from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow or at the Docks in Eternity Isle for 3 coins each. If you’re looking to grow your own wheat, Goofy also sells Wheat seeds for just one coin each and they’re the fastest-growing crops in the entire game, taking just one minute to grow to maturity. Each Wheat seed, when grown, will give you 2 wheat.

The Danish recipe also requires 2 of any fruit, and all of the bush fruits – raspberries, blueberries, or gooseberries – will work. You can also use apples, bananas from Dazzle Beach, cherries from the Frosted Heights, lemons from the Glade of Trust, and even Dreamlight Fruit, if you’ve got that unlocked. If you’ve got the A Rift in Time expansion pack, then you can also use almonds, Cactoberries, Cosmic Figs, Dates, Nestling Pears, strawberries, and any other fruit you find on Eternity Isle. Any fruit in the entire game will work for this recipe, so long as you have two of them.

Once you have all of the ingredients collected, head to the nearest cooking pot and add them in. Use one coal to start the cooking process, and just like that, you’ve got a Danish. This 4-star dessert can be eaten to restore 1,719 energy or sold at Goofy’s Stall for 359 coins.
