This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Oyster Platter is a 2-Star Recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley that requires two ingredients to be made. While the Oyster Platter might not be part of any specific quest, it can be a meal that Villagers might order when visiting Chez Remy in the Plaza. Of course, fulfilling these orders is not mandatory for gameplay progression, but they can be an excellent means to boost one’s Friendship Level with the characters. On the other hand, cooking an Oyster Platter might be a direct or indirect task for Dreamlight Duties. For example, it is possible for players to receive a task like “Cook two meals with Oysters” or something similar.

Collecting Lemons and Oysters to Make an Oyster Platter in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To make the Oyster Platter Recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Dreamers must acquire a Lemon and an Oyster. Lemons are a fruit that can be found and grown in the Forest of Valor and the Glade of Trust. The Forest of Valor can be unlocked with 3,000 Dreamlight, while the Glade of Trust costs 5,000 Dreamlight.

After collecting Lemons from Lemon Trees in the Forest of Valor or the Glade of Trust, players must head to Dazzle Beach to find Oysters along the ocean’s shores. Oysters appear as dark blue shells lying on the sand near the water. They are a somewhat find, so players might need to comb the coastline of Dazzle Beach several times before discovering one. If players still are unable to find any Oysters in this biome, several Oysters can be found on Ariel’s island.

However, this small island does not become accessible until players have completed the Friendship Quest “Mysterious Wreck,” during which Dreamers must gather materials to repair the Wrecked Raft on Dazzle Beach. While the objective is straightforward, finding and farming all the required resources can take up to an hour of work. Nevertheless, once “Mysterious Wreck” is finished, players can use the raft to sail to Ariel’s island and collect Oysters. Finally, head to any cooking stove in the Valley and use the Oysters and Lemons acquired to cook an Oyster Platter in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
