Buying a house is not required to complete the main storyline, but let’s be honest, no one is focusing on looking for Zelda since there are many other fun activities. Therefore, go to Tarrey Town, which is located in the south of the Akkala region, to get your own House in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

There you will find Hudson. Talk to him to start Mattison’s Independence side quest. After completing it, go back to town and talk to Rhondson to buy a plot of land for 1,500 Rupees. Your plot of land is right next to the Rasitakiwak Shrine, so you can quickly teleport there if you have unlocked this Shrine.

When you arrive, you will need to talk to Grantéson. This NPC will congratulate you on purchasing the land and provide you with two rooms. You need to place them using your Ultrahand to make your first home.

  • You cannot place modules outside of your plot of land.
  • Some modules have solid walls and rope net walls. Attach modules to walls with rope net to make large rooms.
  • You can also build additional floors, but you need to buy Indoor Stairs for that.
  • And finally, you cannot use more than 15 modules at the same time.

That’s all you need to know about how to make and customize your very own home. It is a very cool feature that will allow you build your dream home in Hyrule. Therefore, follow our advice to find out how to buy a House. And while you are here, take a look at our guide on how to complete Disaster in Gerudo Canyon.
