Food and shelter aren’t enough to survive the harsh Middle Ages; you also need money to trade and build your hood, especially when you have to start paying taxes once the second Spring comes. Between constructing your village, trading, and paying tribute to the king, you’ll run out of Coins if you cannot acquire them fast enough. Life can be tough, but the Medieval Dynasty community has deemed these methods to be some of the easiest and fastest ways to make money.
Medieval Dynasty: Making Money Fast in the Early Game
Crafting and selling Stone Knives used to be the fastest and easiest way to make Money in Medieval Dynasty. But not anymore since the December 7 2023 Co-op Patch. For a measly five Sticks and two Stones, they used to be worth 20 Coins! However, the patch completely nerfed Stone Knife’s value to 5 Coins per piece. Obviously, we need to come up with better tricks to fill our pockets.
As a vagrant, your best option for money in the early game of Medieval Dynasty is scavenging items. Loot abandoned carts and buildings for Coins and goods, and always keep your eyes peeled for Chests. We assure you, you will find a bunch of money and useful items for your survival like an Iron Crossbow and Fur gear. Stealing them from other village houses can be a decent choice, especially Castellan’s.
While you roam the Medieval Dynasty land, try hunting deer for their Leather too to craft some Bags for money. Just remember that you need a Knife to skin them and be watchful of predators like Wolves. When grabbing stuff, you can also try selling Simple Torches. You only need one Stick and 10 Straws to make one and sell it for 5 Coins. It’s not much but considering it’s ease, you might as well do it.
Aside from that, Bronze and Iron tools can be sold for quite a lot of money if you manage to find mines. Smelt them into Bars and sell them. If you can craft a Bronze Knife, it gets better since it has around 220 Coins base price.
Make Money Fast in Mid and Late Game
Now that you’ve got your footing in Medieval Dynasty, it’s time to look for an even faster and easier money-making scheme. Thankfully, farming Flax still works just fine. Once you have a 5×5 Field, just plant Flax and harvest them during Spring. Sell the Flax Seeds and turn Flax Stalk into Fiber for Linen and Cloth.
Farming Wheat can be a great option for minting Coins in Medieval Dynasty as well. It has a high production rate since you can harvest them twice each year, during Summer and Autumn. Turn them into Flatbread and sell them to the Market for 80 Coins base price.
The last crop to consider for making money in Medieval Dynasty is Cabbage. Just like Wheat, Cabbage can be harvested in two seasons, Summer and Spring. Use them with Salted Meat to make Potage, which has 50 Coins base price. For Fertilizer, you’ll want to grab as many Berries as you can and just leave them to rot on the ground. Carry them to a Barn and you can easily use them as Fertilizer!
Speaking of food items, in addition to Potage, Quark Cheese can be worthwhile if you have a bunch of Soured Milk and high Diplomacy Skill. It could be tempting to straight-up selling Soured Milk for 96 Coins as is. But do consider you can make 10 Quark at 14 Coins per one Soured Milk. That means the Cheese could yield up to 140 Coins for your effort. Having Salted Meat and Leather production from Pigsty could also help your Medieval Dynasty village’s finances as well. Not to mention that pig manure can be used as a Fertilizer too.
