Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the newest installment in the Pokemon series, and it is set to release on November 18, 2022. With this latest game update to the Pokemon franchise, players can expect new evolutions, new forms, and of course, new Pokemon to catch. The games take place in the region of Paldea. It is said to be inspired by Spain and Portugal, with a few new features such as the new Fairy type. Paldea will be the first open World setting in the history of the Pokemon series.

How to Play Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Early?

You can play Pokemon Scarlet and Violet early by changing your region to the Australian time zone on your eShop. Because the earliest release time of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be Midnight Australia which is November 17, 8.00 A.M. for East Coast. Here are the steps you need to follow to play Pokemon Scarlet and Violet early.

  1. Create a secondary profile for your Nintendo Switch account, setting the region to Australia. ( You can also set Japan, Newzealand or Hongkong). You can do this by going to System Settings from the main menu, selecting User, and clicking on Add new user.
  2. Go to your Nintendo Switch eShop and log in.
  3. Link the secondary profile to your Nintendo account.
  4. Access the Eshop from the secondary account and download the game.

Remember, You need to buy the game in Australia or any other currency according to the selected region. Creating a new profile to access the game might be a time-consuming task to do. But, if you are willing to do it to play the game early, it is worth it.
