The Gongaga region is a lush forest filled with tall cliffs and hidden caves. Exploring the area is fun for the most part, but it can get rather frustrating when you want to get to a specific location. The prime example is Training Facility B-T, which is where the Gongaga Protorelic 4 is located in FF7 Rebirth. While you may think you can reach it from the Gongaga Airstrip, the proper entrance to this secret facility can be found on the south side.

A metal door will block your path if you attempt to enter Training Facility B-T via the Gongaga Airstrip. Luckily, there is another way to reach Gongaga Protorelic 4 in FF7 Rebirth, and you must teleport to Activation Intel 4: Gongaga Ruins Tower. Then, you can head north until you discover an abandoned Chocobo Station inside a cave.

A giant trampoline mushroom is growing on the side of the nearby cliff. If you ride your Chocobo, you can use its wings to reach Training Facility B-T. A group of monsters have nested in front of the building’s entrance, and you must kill them before progressing.

Before entering the facility, I recommend climbing the stairs and heading north until you find the metal door that blocks your path. You can use the switch on the right side to open the gate to Gongaga Airstrip.

Gongaga Protorelic 4’s training simulation requires you to fight Rude and Elena. The battle is quite similar to your first encounter with the two Turks in the Mythril Mine. Elena is vulnerable against Lightning, and you can cast Wind magic to weaken Rude.

You can pressure Elena by hitting her with powerful abilities like Focused Thrust. On the other hand, you should only attack Rude when he is guarding to increase his Stagger Gauge.

Once you defeat the two Turks, you can finally obtain Gongaga Protorelic 4 in FF7 Rebirth. Before leaving the facility, you shouldn’t forget to open the gold treasure chest to get a Prayer Materia.
