After meeting Zhu Yuan and starting Chapter 2 Intermission, you can access a new open area called Lumina Square. This location is filled with NPCs, and you can accept various new commissions to level up your Inter-Knot account. One of the side missions you can accept in Zenless Zone Zero is the Riddlers’ Club chain quest. Unlike most commissions, you need to solve a puzzle and take a picture of the correct object to complete the Riddlers’ Club quest.
You can start the Riddlers’ Club commission by speaking with a young man named Sam at Lumina Square. He will be standing beside a tree near the river. He will only show up in the evening, and you can find him by following the blue quest marker above his head.
Puzzle 1
The first time you meet with Sam, he will offer you the opportunity to participate in his club. Here’s the first Riddlers’ Club puzzle you must solve in Zenless Zone Zero, “It’s silver, beautiful and smooth. Something indescribable created from fate that spins silently – and, ‘Who says Lumina Square isn’t the center of the universe?'”
The keywords you need to pay attention to are silver, smooth, and spins. The only object that matches this description can be found near the intersection. Just head toward the big road and then look to your right. You can find a large white sculpture in front of the police station.
You can open the camera feature by holding the LB button and selecting the lens icon. After you take the photo, you can return to Sam and show him your answer. Solving the first puzzle in the Riddlers’ Club quest will give you these rewards:
- Inter-Knot Credit x150
- Polychrome x10
- Senior Investigator Log x2
- W-Engine Energy Module x1
- Crystallized Plating Agent x2
Puzzle 2
After completing the first Riddlers’ Club puzzle, you can start the second quest by speaking with Sam during the morning. Here is the riddle you must solve, “Yin and Yang, black and white. Straightforward descriptions are always misleading… Two mythical creatures chasing the other’s tail.”
Yin and Yang refer to a popular symbol from Chinese philosophy. It appears as a circle divided into two halves by a curved line. Unfortunately, there is no obvious Yin Yang symbol in Lumina Square, but you can find something similar to it.
After speaking to Sam, you just need to walk to your right toward the parking area. On the wall to your left, you can find graffiti of two dragons. One is white in color, while the other is black. Completing this side quest will also grant you the same rewards as the previous commission.
