When exploring the Electrodynamic Cenobium in Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader, you can find the Data Altar of Sacred Analysis. The Data Altar requires a specific prayer to open an area with a valuable chest. Unfortunately, the clues for the correct prayer are sparse and your Tech-Priest companion isn’t familiar with the correct lines. Here’s what you must do to get the correct prayer lines for the Data Altar of Sacred Analysis.
The Correct Prayer For The Data Altar of Sacred Analysis in Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader
While you don’t need to clear the entire area to find the correct prayer, it does help you find certain clues. It’s possible to guess your way to the prayer and you have unlimited tries, but it will waste a lot of time. The first clue can be found on the west side of the Cenobium. Look for a stack of boxes that requires Athletics to bypass. Get past the boxes to find a panel that talks about the triumph of reason over other facets.
Your other clues must come from your existing knowledge of the Warhammer 40K universe, which can be difficult for beginners. If you have paid attention to Pascal, you would have heard about the Omnissiah several times. There is also talk of a key that completes the circuit, which would be the second line.
The correct sequence of answers is:
- “…the Omnissiah, from whom the holy discharge springeth forth.”
- “…the arcane key that closeth the circuit.”
- “…the immortal Reason that hath created the spark.”
Reward For Getting The Correct Prayer
Once the correct prayer is recited, a wall will open up and reveal a special Goods chest. The chest contains some unique cargo that goes into the following categories:
- Carbon-Fibre Plates x2 – Armour Kit
- Fire Selector Mods – Ranged Weaponry
- Magnus-Class Rechargeable Battery x2 – Fuel Cargo
- Rad-Pack x2 – Fuel Cargo
There are also two unique pieces of equipment that you want for your inventory. The first is an Arc Rifle that can hit all enemies within two cells of your targets. Next is a Pinpointing Visor that grants a 15% boost to your critical rate against enemies with less than 50% wounds. If your character is a long-range fighter or you enjoy bringing Argenta along, these items will be a great boost to your combat effectiveness.
Getting the correct prayer also unlocks the path to the monastery’s priests, allowing you to reach the enemies that threaten the monastery.
