Say what you want about Remnant 2, but one thing’s for sure: it contains some interesting puzzles for players to tackle. With each biome and world gamers explore, they might encounter a few nerve-wracking challenges on top of the horde of enemies that await them around every corner. The latest Forgotten Kingdom DLC for Remnant 2 is no exception, and it features a confusing yet incredibly fun puzzle involving moon tiles and other interesting elements of the Earthen Coliseum.
Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom – Moon Puzzle Guide
One of the biomes you might reach in this new DLC is the Earthen Coliseum, which features a new boss, shiny loot, and might contain a puzzle if you’re lucky enough. The latter is today’s focus, and we’ll help you solve this traversal challenge in the game.
Finding the Moon Room
As a disclaimer for the new Travelers in Remnant 2, not all biomes will contain the same event or puzzle rooms. Still, there’s a chance of encountering the moon puzzle inside the Earthen Coliseum of Remnant 2, and here’s how to solve it:
- When you find the room full of moon tiles, don’t cross it yet. Backtrack a bit, and you’ll encounter a wall with a mural that shows different moon phases.
- You need to memorize the phases from left to right, as this is the order in which you’ll traverse the puzzle.
- We recommend taking a screenshot of the mural for easier access.
- Return to the room with the moon tiles and step on the tiles in the order shown on the wall. For example, if the left-most moon phase was a full moon, step on that first.
- If you step on a tile outside of the mural’s order, the tile will disappear, and you’ll fall inside a room full of enemies, which isn’t too bad if you want some scrap, but it’ll take you time to return to the room.
After crossing this area, you’ll enter a small room where your reward awaits. Given the procedural nature of the game, chances are you’ll get a different reward than the one we got, but in our case, we found the Mark of the Destroyer ring. While we were expecting a weapon or a set of armor, the ring wasn’t bad, and who knows? Those encountering the event in subsequent runs might find something better. So, don’t be afraid to explore alone or with friends in these new areas of Remnant 2.
