Vampire Survivors‘ Bat Country is a land populated entirely with bat-type mobs, but before you can embark on bat hunting, you must understand that the new Stage comes with a prerequisite. Specifically, the map is tied to an Achievement that involves reaching Level 80 with a character in the Inverse Mad Forest. From a glance, this might seem like a straightforward task; however, newcomers must take heed of the “Inverse” term, which refers to a game mode only accessible in the endgame.
To reiterate, you must achieve Level 80 in the Inverse Mad Forest to gain access to the Bat Country Stage in Vampire Survivors. To unlock the Inverse Mode for the Mad Forest, you will need a Relic called Gracia’s Mirror, which is obtained by entering the Eudaimonia Machine and speaking with The Directer.
For newcomers, the Eudaimonia Machine is the “final boss” area that you can access after collecting eleven Stage Relics. These Relics include the Milky Way Map, Ars Gouda, Randomazzo, Great Gospel, Magic Banger, Glass Vizard, Yellow Sign, Grim Grimoire, Sorceress’ Tears, Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane, and Mindbender. Once you have all of these, the Eudaimonia M map will become available. Enter the Stage and speak with The Directer, answering his inquiry with “Too Easy.” This choice will grant you Gracia’s Mirror, which permanently unlocks Inverse Mode for all Stages, including the Mad Forest. Accordingly, return to the forest and reach Level 80 to unlock Bat Country in Vampire Survivors.
Achieving Level 80 should not be too difficult as long as you understand which builds have the best chances of survival. For instance, using Godai Shuffle is one of the most powerful horde-clearing weapons available and for outliving the non-stop enemy assault. Be sure to have Armor and Pummarola for HP sustainment. Alternatively, you can use a weapon that replenishes your Health, such as the Night Sword, which has a chance to perform life-steal. Whatever the case, as long as you hit Level 80 before being slain, you will automatically unlock Bat Country in the post-game screen in Vampire Survivors.
