We all know that Remnant 2 loves hiding its new archetypes behind many steps, and the Invoker class isn’t an exception for the latest Forgotten Kingdom DLC. By harnessing the powers of nature, the Invoker is a terrific class that can fit almost every build. It is a jack-of-all-trades archetype that improves most playstyles in many ways. However, Travelers going through Yaesha’s new jungle will need help encountering this coveted class. But don’t worry because we’ll give you the right tips to unlock it for your playthrough.

After wandering in circles in Yaesha for hours, I finally found the new archetype. I only had to finish the main quest four times and kill the singing rock of Lydusa along with all her bosses the same number of times. All this to realize that you can unlock the Invoker archetype almost from the beginning of Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. It is not the first time that Gunfire Games introduces a “creative” way to find an archetype, but to find the Invoker, you must do the following:

  1. Teleport to Ancient Canopy and head towards the spinning statue.
  2. Climb all the way down the statue.
  3. Look for an entrance towards the room full of quicksand. This is where you find the Disciple Armor.
  4. Avoid the arrows, but go to the top right corner instead of crossing the room.
  5. Stand close to the sand mounds. Then, forget about your controls and don’t move for 5 minutes.
  6. As time passes, you will see your character sink into the sand; it will even sound like you have died.
  7. You will appear in a different room with an altar. Approach the altar. You will see a golden glow, which is the Old Flute.
  8. Go back to Ward 13 and go to Wallace to unlock the Invoker Archetype.
  9. You can change your build and archetype from the character menu.

As you can see, unlocking the Invoker archetype in Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom is quite the ordeal. While we would’ve loved to have it easy, such as the case for the Ritualist class in the previous DLC, we’re glad the people at Gunfire Games are making us work for it. But once you have this class in your repertoire, combine it as you see fit and prepare to destroy your enemies with the powers of nature.
