In recent years, many games have made crossplay between different platforms available for their game, especially more popular games like the Call of Duty franchise or Minecraft. If you want to use crossplay in Minecraft Dungeons, then here is how to use it in the game.
How to Use Crossplay in Minecraft Dungeons
The first step of using Crossplay in Minecraft Dungeons is to make sure your game is updated. The latest version of this game is 1.13.1.0, which was released in March.
Once you’ve made sure your game is updated, then it is time to use Crossplay in the game, but before that, you have to make sure that Crossplay settings are enabled.
Apart from PlayStation consoles, Minecraft Dungeons Crossplay is enabled by default on other platforms such as PC or Xbox consoles. This option is also enabled most of the time on PlayStation consoles as well, but you have to check to make sure it is enabled.
Go to the Game Settings of your PlayStation and then click on Configure Online Play. In this window, you will see the Crossplay option, and make sure it is enabled.
Now that you’ve taken care of that, it is time to use Crossplay to play with your friends from different platforms. The procedure is quite similar to playing any online game in Minecraft Dungeons.
First, you have to select the Online Game from the menu and select Start Online Game. Once you’ve seen yourself at your base camp, open our friend’s menu and then send invitations to your friends.

Now with the Crossplay enabled, your friends will receive the invitation regardless of their platform of choice, as long as you’ve added them as your friend in the game.
Once your friends accepted your invitation, they will join you and then you can start your journey with your friends in Minecraft Dungeons. And that is how you can use the Crossplay option in Minecraft Dungeons to play with your friends.
Minecraft Dungeons is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
