How To Use Nightsoul’s Blessing, Transmission, and Burst in Genshin Impact

Explosion of power and color

This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

In Fontaine, players got a regional mechanic, the Arkhe energy (Pneuma and Ousia). So, HoYoverse designed another unique system in Natlan. Genshin Impact implemented Nightsoul’s Blessing, Transmission, and Burst for the Pyro nation. Unlike the Arkhe, which made you think more about your rotation and which characters to use, Natlan’s characters receive a buff with its mechanic. Although the description sometimes makes it difficult to know precisely how it works or how to activate it, we got you because you should learn to use it, as it will make your fights more dynamic.

What is Nightsoul’s Blessing in Genshin Impact?

This mechanic is for Natlan characters specifically and is closely related to when they activate their Skills and their “mounts” appear. In Genshin Impact, each character has a unique Nightsoul’s Blessing and a different effect. For example, Kachina summons her spinner, Mualani has her surfboard/shark, and Kinich can swing like Spider-man. They can all use these different forms of transportation, but when doing so, a new “stamina bar” appears. This bar works like Wanderer’s Skill, indicating how much energy he has left before the effect ends and the cooldown begins. This energy shows the Nightsoul Points, and this is also where the Character Mechanics and Phlogiston come in.

The Phlogiston is another critical factor since, in Natlan, another bar will appear over our HP, indicating how many Phlogiston points we have available. This Phlogiston bar directly affects the Nightsoul Points since, as we said, each character has a different effect on Nightsoul’s Blessing. For example, Mualani can “recharge” her Phlogiston/Nightsoul Points when she collects harvestable items, so her Skill can last longer.

How To Use Nightsoul’s Transmission

When you are exploring Natlan, and you have a character from this nation on your team, you will notice that sometimes the icon of this character will be highlighted in a golden color. This is the Nightsoul’s Transmission of Genshin Impact, and the only thing you have to do to activate it is to switch to that character. When you switch to the golden character, they will enter using her Nightsoul’s Blessing. So, if you switch to Kachina in that state, she will appear with her Skill/mount active.

This system will remind you of Concerto Energy and Intro/Outro Skill from Wuthering Waves, and more so when you realize you can switch characters climbing or mid-air. With character passives, you can now surf and suddenly switch to Kachina’s Turbo Twirly without having to stop. Or you can swing in the air with Kinich and a mid-jump switch to a surfboard or Turbo Twirly. Just make sure you have enough Nightsoul Points.

How to Trigger Nightsoul’s Burst

The Nightsoul’s Burst is more like a unique buff that each Natlan character receives, and the effect depends on each Genshin Impact kit. To trigger the Nightsoul’s Burst, you have to do Elemental DMG to an opponent, and you will know it is active because a multicolor aura appears over the characters. Also, more visual effects, such as lights or graffiti, will appear when you attack with the Bust active. This mechanic is essential for your teams because the more Natlan characters there are in it, the lower the cooldown of Nightsoul’s Burst.
