Want to know how to wake up Stalnox in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Although Tears of the Kingdom offers players many dangerous and exciting story bosses, you should not forget about minibosses such as Stalnox. The ancient piles of bones that once belonged to the mighty race of Hinox Cyclops cannot rest. On the body of the great Cyclops, there has long been no flesh or skin, but the power hidden in the eye is too great. Giant skeletons of Stalnox are just sleeping and waiting for a worthy opponent. So we are here to help you and tell you how to wake up Stalnox in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Where To Find Stalnox in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

As we said, Stalnox is a miniboss like Stone Talus and others. It means you can encounter many such bosses throughout Hyrule, except for the Sky Islands. And while you’ll first fight Stalnox in the Hyrule Surface area, many more Stalnox is sleeping in Hyrule Depths.

Not easy to understand where the Stalnox is if you are first time hunting it. After all, you must look for not bones but large piles of stones (which you can destroy). Stalnox sleeps under these rocks and waits for someone to challenge him. We found the first Stalnox boss in Hyrule Castle Town Ruins, so you can take it as a starting point (coordinates in the image above).

Wake Up Stalnox

To wake up Stalnox in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, destroy most of the rocks near and above the boss. More specifically, unearth the boss’s head and his eye. So after digging to the first bones, try to understand which side the boss’s head is on and destroy the rock there.

To destroy stones, you can use the Fuse ability. Find any sword and stone to fuse them. And once you see the head and eye of this boss, he will wake up, and the battle will begin.

How to Beat Stalnox

Despite the impressive size of Stalnox, the fight with him is not very difficult. All you have to do is keep your distance and attack from afar. The boss’s melee attacks are deadly, but at long range, he throws his bones at you. In addition, these fly slowly enough to be easily dodged.

Try to shoot the boss in the eye and deal great melee damage once Stalnox covers the eye. When Stalnox throws his hand at you, you are close to victory. The boss eye periodically drops out, and you must attack it to deal critical damage. The Stalnox eye is the main weakness of the boss, so as soon as you destroy it, the bones crumble to ashes.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
