Hulk Hogan has a new venture to his name, but fans think it is a PR move to redeem his failing reputation. The WWE legend is storming the beer market with his own product—Real American Beer.
The famed wrestler announced the launch of the light lager beverage in June 2024 with a mission to bring Americans together “one beer at a time.” Gushing about the product, he declared in a press release:
“We’ve formed an all-star team to make it happen, and I’m excited to introduce Real American Beer to fans and beer lovers everywhere.”
Real American Beer has an ABV rating of 4.2% and is made with 100% North American ingredients. However, despite the many great things about the product, the reception has been horrible due to Hogan’s support for Trump.
The retired wrestler, whose real name is Terry Bollea, publicly endorsed Trump. He even spoke at the RNC after his assassination attempt. Hogan pulled off his trademark WWE stunt of ripping his shirt to unveil a red Trump and JD Vance sleeveless shirt.
“What happened last week when they took a shot at my hero and they tried to kill the next President of the United States, enough was enough,” Hogan said on stage. “And I said let Trump-a-mania run wild, brother, let Trump-a-mania rule again.”
The cringe moment was further intensified when Trump threw Hulk Hogan a kiss from his seat.
Hulk Hogan’s Beer Brand Slammed By Angry Fans
Unfortunately, Hogan’s association with Donald Trump has negatively affected the rollout of Real American Beer. As part of its launch, the WWE brand ambassador is set to hold a meet-and-greet with fans in New York. The event will occur from March 3-5 in Buffalo, Rochester, Poughkeepsie, and Westchester, and there is already backlash.
“Nobody here wants that piss beer. Kid Rock tried that years ago. I think it lasted a year or 2,” one fan slammed.
“I don’t understand why these clowns mess with Trump and ruin the future of their business and their reputation,” bashed another fan. “He’s an idiot. Nobody wants to mess with him now, all because of Trump.”
“He’s a has been! Now he thinks he can get his fame back! He’s a flipping loser,” a third harsh comment read.
“No, thanks! Keep that trash down in Florida,” slammed a fourth fan, while another added, “Washed-up man with a washed-up following.”
This isn’t the first time Hulk Hogan’s beer has earned a hostile reception. Last month, during an appearance on Monday Night Raw, fans broke out into loud boos when he climbed on stage to promote his brand. Hogan was jeered until he exited the venue.
