The stakes are high across the country with the upcoming elections. Of all major political decisions, a lot is riding on these. For that reason, one judge from San Francisco issued a temporary restraining order to protect election workers from the DOJ and DHS. Naturally, people are shocked after learning this, as they believe it is wild to see how someone has to protect workers during voting day. And who are they protecting them from? None other than the Trump administration.
The report comes from Bloomberg Law, mentioning how Judge Trina Thompson had to issue a temporary restraining order to prevent the DOJ and DHS from harassing state and local election workers.
Since these elections will be vital for the country, many believe that Trump could send his ICE agents to stop some people during voting day. While these are allegations, what makes the whole thing seem plausible is that a judge had to intervene to protect people on Election Day.
On top of protecting the workers, this order also says that the aforementioned agencies can’t stop ballot counting. And to keep people safer that day, the DOJ has to inform them about any pending search warrant applications, grand jury subpoenas, or anything that gives them access to ballots.
While this may seem like something that is happening in just one place, that’s not the case. There was another situation in L.A., where a judge apparently blocked Trump’s request to put 20,000 ballots aside in California. All because the people were supposedly considered non-citizens.
As you can see, the situation is dire in certain states, but several judges are working to protect election officials and make it safer for everyone casting their vote.

What makes everything extremely shocking for everyone is the fact that judges have to go to this extent to stop the president of the United States. This is something that people rarely see, and even with all these precautions in place, some are still afraid of what the Trump administration might do.

And while some are happy that judges are fighting back, some think that this won’t stop Trump. According to some, judges have been trying to halt Trump’s actions for a while to no avail.
“Trump and the regime have learned they can do whatever they want. The only punishments they receive are verbal lashings from an angry judge. What comes after that? Stern finger-wagging?“
