Jamie Lynn Spears is going to be on Dancing With the Stars this upcoming season. People know her best as the little sister of Britney as well as a successful actress. She technically rose to fame in Disney’s Zoey 101 and has also gone on to star in other things as well. She recently returned to the fold, bringing back her Zoey character for a whole new generation. She also started her own family and gave birth to her daughter, Maddie, in 2008. She took time off the focus on family but now is in the middle of a comeback.
Spears recently announced she will be partnering up with Allan Bersten on the show in season 32. She has also gone on record to say she will be donating her salary from the show to help people affected by the writer’s strike—a very classy move to set the tone for the whole thing.

This season will be no slouch, either. Other folks dancing this season include Vanderpump Rules Ariana Madix. Moreover, The Bachelorette season 20’s Charity Lawson will be dancing there, too. There have been rumors actress Mira Sorvino will be joining up as well, though that has not been confirmed yet. One interesting aside is that there will be a new host as well. Julianne Hough will be officially taking over for Tyra Banks. It’s kind of amazing when you stop and realize this show has been on for 32 seasons. What started as a flash in the pan idea has gone on to become iconic.
