The retired NFL player has the challenge of buying gifts for his loved ones, which now consists of his younger brother Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Recently, the elder Kelce brother revealed that it’s difficult to figure out what to get a person like Swift, who has it all and the means to get anything that she could ever want. However, he has come up with one idea.
During a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jason Kelce opened up about the Kelce Christmas, and the task of getting someone like Taylor Swift a gift. Jason went on to reveal that his best bet will to be a “sentimental” handmade gift. He says it will be special, and something that can’t be bought. However, his idea of what to make is what really grabbed attention.
“I’ve got something up my sleeve this year. A macaroni necklace … It works on me with my kids very well,” Jason said. “It would be really funny if you make Taylor a macaroni necklace and then, all of a sudden, millions of girls are wearing macaroni necklaces,” the late-night host chimed in. “Friendship macaroni necklaces,” Kelce added, referencing the Swifties hobby of trading friendship bracelets at her concerts.
Taylor and Travis have been dating since the summer of 2023. Over the past year and a half, Swift has had plenty of interactions with Jason. The two have watched multiple Kansas City Chiefs games together as they cheered on Travis. They even celebrated his Super Bowl win in Las Vegas. Over the summer, Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce, vacationed with the couple at Swift’s Rhode Island estate.

Most recently, Jason defended his brother when a heckler at a college football game used a homophobic slur against him and mentioned Taylor’s name in the process. Jason was filmed grabbing the man’s phone and slamming it on the ground out of anger.
Sources later told the Daily Mail that Taylor and Travis were both taken aback by the encounter. However, they were thankful that Jason was there to defend them.
An insider told the outlet that Jason’s reaction was a testament to how much he respects Taylor and considers her to be part of his family. Jason and Travis have a very close relationship and often work together. They even co-host a successful podcast together. So, Swift has become a big part of both of their lives over the past year.
