During a recent chat with Andy Cohen, Lewis jokingly called Kyle Richards a lesbian on Ozempic — seemingly referring to speculations about a romance between the actress and Morgan Wade. Unfortunately, Richards was not amused by the interior designer’s joke and has reportedly been avoiding him. Now, it seems like Lewis is bothered about Richards’ silence as he cleared the air on Wednesday while talking to TMZ at the Rockefeller Center in New York. He made it clear that his statement was only a joke.
Lewis further explained that he only intended to poke fun at Richards and Wade’s rumored romance. Besides trying to justify his words, the radio personality said Richards hadn’t spoken to him. According to Lewis, he sent the RHOBH star a message, and she hasn’t responded. The star has since apologized for his joke, but it seems like it may be too late to repair the damage. Nevertheless, fans are hopeful the joke won’t end Jeff Lewis and Kyle Richards’ friendship. Meanwhile, Richards is yet to publicly respond to Lewis’s apology, and her next line of action remains unknown.

On Tuesday, Lewis appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. He graced the show alongside fellow Real Housewives super-fan Heather McDonald. During the chat, Lewis opened up about his issues with various Housewives. At some point, he was asked about Richards, and the real estate speculator took a jab at her. Lewis noted that he and the star were friends, after which he called Kyle Richards a lesbian on Ozempic. His statement was directed at the recent rumors of her lesbian romance and rumors that she had been using Ozempic, a controversial weight-loss drug.
Similarly, McDonald chipped in, noting that lesbianism was a side effect of the drug. While the statements left the audience in stitches and caused Cohen to feel flustered, it appeared to have hurt Richards. Consequently, Jeff Lewis and Kyle Richards may never be friends again.
