Jennifer Aniston broke down in tears over her latest loss ahead of the weekend, with fans largely seeming to feel for her. Speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show last Friday while promoting the latest season of her The Morning Show series, the 56-year-old couldn’t hold back from crying while discussing the loss of her dog Norman, although the loss isn’t recent.
Looking back with sadness on her beloved, four-legged friend, Jen referenced her dog’s 2011 passing, clearly still torn up over the loss. The Hollywood actress, who is a known animal lover, spoke of being with former co-star Shirley MacLaine when her dog died. Fans reacting seemed to think that Jen was worthy of sympathy, with one user saying that it was “the longest relationship she ever had.” Jen, who is currently dating new boyfriend Jim Curtis, has often made headlines for her love life, notably for her two failed marriages. Her first marriage to actor Brad Pitt lasted from 2000 to 2005. In 2015, the sitcom star married producer Justin Theroux, however the marriage collapsed just three years later.

Speaking to fellow actress Drew Barrymore, Jen said:
“I was with her when my dog passed away.” Wiping away her tears, the LolaVie founder continued:
“Sorry, and I was at her ranch in New Mexico doing a past life regression retreat. Which sounds crazy when I say it like that, are you worried about me because I’m crying and my dog I’m talking about Norman. Oh my gosh.”
For her appearance, Jen looked stylish in a low-cut purple dress, looking glam despite the tears as she wore a matte makeup layer and her famous tresses styled into layers. Jen is currently a dog mommy to pooches Lord Chesterfield and Clyde, who regularly feature on her Instagram.
‘Longest Relationship She Had?’
Fans quickly replied as The Daily Mail covered Jen’s tearful appearance.
“It’s so sad to lose a pet. Condolences,” one user replied. Noting Jen’s wealth, another said: “Doesn’t matter how much money one has, it’s always difficult saying good bye to a little buddy..”
A third said that Jen’s relationship with Norman was the “longest” one she’d ever had. Jen has largely been portrayed as being unlucky in love, although fans are now keen to see where her new romance with 49-year-old wellness guru Jim goes. The two have been spending time together in public of late, with early September seeing them out to dinner in New York City.
