Jennifer Aniston has had her fair share of high-profile relationships in the past. The beloved actress has dated famous men such as Brad Pitt, John Mayer, Vince Vaughn, Tate Donovan, and Justin Theroux. However, she’s also had some very steamy makeout sessions on her television shows and movies. Aniston has smooched everyone from Adam Sandler and Paul Rudd to Jake Gyllenhaal. She’s also kissed some women during her career. In addition to kissing her gal pals Ellen DeGeneres and Courteney Cox on the lips, she’s also locked lips with Winona Ryder on the set of her hit sitcom Friends.
Jennifer Aniston Is a Great Kisser, According to Winona Ryder
According to The Daily Star, Ryder appeared on Friends as a former college friend of Aniston’s character, Rachel Green. In the episode, Rachel tells her friends that she once had a same-sex makeout with her sorority sister, Melissa. However, nobody believed her, least of all Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow). So, Rachel calls up Melissa and asks her to tell Phoebe about their intimate encounter. However, Melissa pretends not to remember.
Later, Rachel is so frustrated that she grabs Melissa and plants a kiss on her lips. Melissa then admits to remembering their original kiss and being in love with Rachel. Of course, the encounter turns awkward. Soon after, Phoebe also grabs Rachel and smooches her, wanting to know what all the fuss is about.
After the episode aired, Winona Ryder spoke out about her kissing scene with Jennifer Aniston. The actress admitted that she would have liked to see a better take of the same-sex kiss end up in the episode. However, she did confess that she didn’t hate kissing Aniston.
“When I saw the episode, all you see is hair, and you don’t see lips. I was kind of bummed out because we got a couple of chances to do some pretty nice kisses. She’s a very good kisser!” Ryder stated.
While Jennifer Aniston went on to star in several films as well as the TV series The Morning Show after Friends, Winona Ryder took a break from acting. She left Hollywood for several years before re-emerging to star in the Netflix series Stranger Things. Of course, hardcore Friends fans won’t ever forget her guest-starring role as Melissa.
