Jennifer Lopez is trying to figure out the next chapter in her life after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck. The singer was recently photographed house hunting in Los Angeles as she searches for a new home. JLo’s current house, the $68 million mansion she purchased with Affleck, has been on the market for months but has yet to sell. Lopez had three friends with her as she toured the lavish mansions. However, she didn’t look happy about it.
According to The Daily Mail, Jennifer Lopez was spotted looking casual as she shopped for homes on Thursday. JLo sported a pair of baggy jeans with a rip in the knee and a blue and green flannel shirt. She tucked the top into the denim pants to show off her slim figure.
Lopez rocked a minimal makeup look for the outing, which included pale lips and rosy pink cheeks. Her long, brown hair was parted in the center and styled in loose strands that fell over her shoulders. She accessorized her ensemble with a bracelet around her wrist, chunky brown boots, and a pair of large sunglasses. She was later seen carrying her expensive Hermes Birkin bag and wearing a thick brown sweater.

Lopez wore a tense expression on her face in several of the photos as she looked at houses around Beverly Hills and Brentwood. If the singer were to move to Brentwood, she would find herself living in the same neighborhood as her soon-to-be ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and his first wife, Jennifer Garner.
“She looks so depressed trying to buy a house close to Ben. This gives off major stalker vibes,” one person commented.
“Why is she looking for homes in Brentwood where both Ben and Jen Garner live?! You would think the last place she should want to live is near the man who dumped her a second time. Trying to stay close to him and his family is more than a little creepy now,” another said.
“Half her life is hunting for husbands. The other half, hunting for houses,” a third person wrote.
The outlet suggested that JLo’s realtor was by her side throughout the process. In addition, it seems that she doesn’t plan on downsizing following her split from Affleck. The singer reportedly toured properties with huge yards, pools, and other amenities.
2025 May Not Be Much Better For JLo
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Lopez may find herself bringing the problems of the last year into 2025. However, Jennifer Lopez is predicted to rise above the drama and even find love again as the months pass. Her love life will certainly be in the spotlight, especially if she starts publicly dating again. Of course, the first step to JLo’s new chapter will ultimately be finding a new home and selling her old mansion.
