Jennifer Lopez isn’t hesitating to share her appreciation for the important things in life. The singer recently took to social media to share a few things that she was grateful for. As she did, fans debated her choices, and some even criticized her for the post. However, JLo didn’t let that get her down, as she’s revealed that she’s learned some major life lessons since her younger years in the spotlight.
On Tuesday, Jennifer Lopez shared a photo to her Instagram feed. In the snap, JLo rocked a skintight black bodysuit. The one piece featured a deep necklace that showed off some skin. The garment also flaunted her tiny waist, curvy hips, and toned arms.
Lopez posted with her hip pushed out and one hand resting on one side. She held her phone in her other hand. She had her brown hair pulled back behind her head and her bangs left out to frame her face. She also rocked a natural makeup look, which included pink lips and blush and long lashes.
“Gratitude check-in,” JLo wrote in the caption. “1. My body — working hard but still better than ever. 2. The people who keep my heart full. 3. The little moments that become the best memories. What are you grateful for today?”

Of course, Lopez’s fans shared that they were grateful for the singer and gushed over the photo. However, others didn’t feel the same way.
“Girl, Get Over Yourself,” one person commented.
“She is so full of herself,” another said.
“Fishing for compliments,” a third person stated.
“At least she looks after herself,” a fourth comment read.
Back in 2018, Lopez opened up about not having enough appreciation for her body when she was younger. Now, she says that she makes sure to appreciate the vessel that allows her to work and live out her days. So, her self-love is no surprise.
“I never appreciated my body or my looks when I was in my 20s,’ she previously told W Magazine. Now I’m like, Look at me! Look at you! Not in a conceited or arrogant way—I just appreciate myself in a way I didn’t when I was that age. And it’s not about perfection. I like the scars that I have,” she added.
Jennifer Lopez is often considered one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. She has aged well, and it seems that her outlook on her body now that she’s in her 50s is more positive than it even was when she was just starting off her career. Perhaps that’s the message she’s trying to spread to her followers.
