However, JLo has yet to fulfill one of her biggest dreams yet. The singer has huge aspirations of winning an Oscar, a feat she didn’t achieve during her marriage to Ben Affleck. Now, she’s looking toward A-listers such as Brad Pitt and George Clooney in hopes that they’ll help her accomplish her goal.
With a new year just starting, Jennifer Lopez is said to be focused on her career. This means she’s looking for new acting opportunities, and she’s ready to kick things up a notch. However, she can’t seem to do it alone, and she’s planning to ask Brad Pitt and George Clooney to help her in hopes of possibly landing a role in one of their next films, per Radar Online.
“It’s crucial to have the right material to get into the race with an award-worthy script, and let’s face it Brad and his company have a great track record, so he’s at the top of her schmooze list,” a source said. “She’s always felt a little like an outsider and is convinced that an Oscar would prove she’s got everyone’s respect.”
Lopez previously worked with Clooney on the film Out of Sight. However, the duo hasn’t remained close since wrapping the 1998 movie.

“Jennifer’s relationship with George is complicated, primarily because they both blew up so huge after their one onscreen collaboration 26 years ago, which is still considered a classic by their fans,” the informant stated. “But the momentum from that project pushed both of them in different directions.
Meanwhile, she has yet to have the chance to star in a flick with Pitt. She’s hoping to change all of that, especially since she’s gotten to know Brad a bit thanks to his friendship with her now ex-husband, Ben Affleck.
“Brad and Ben are friends, so Jen has spent a little time with him enough to feel comfortable reaching out and asking if he has any material she can star in,” the insider dished.
JLo is said to be so desperate for a good role that she’s willing to put up a ton of money on a project that she thinks could earn her an Oscar nomination and possibly a win.

Reports suggest that Pitt and Clooney are ready to return to their Oceans 11 franchise. The films have starred several big names, such as their close pal Julia Roberts. Lopez is allegedly hoping to land a role in their upcoming movie. Of course, that could lead to more A-list connections for her.
Over the years, JLo has starred in fan-favorite films such as Hustlers, Monster-In-Law, Jersey Girl, Enough, Maid in Manhattan, Selena, Jack, The Wedding Planner, and more. However, they haven’t been enough to propel her to major movie star status or earn her any Oscar buzz. Perhaps all of that will change if she can hook up with Pitt and Clooney as well as their A-list pals for a future project.
