Jimmy Kimmel continues to throw heavy shots at Donald Trump and his supporters. Although the president-elect won’t be inaugurated until January 2025, the late-night talk show host sees no reason to wait until then to tear down the Trump administration.
On Tuesday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host, during his opening monologue, slammed Sylvester Stallone for referring to Trump as the “second George Washington.” The veteran actor was one of the speakers at the American First Gala held at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday night. “We are in the presence of a really mythical character. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off, so I’m in awe,” he began. While trying to introduce the President-elect, the Tulsa King star said:
“When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was going to change the world. Because without him, you can imagine what the world would look like.”
Stallone then added, “Guess what? We got the second George Washington,” before yelling “Congratulations” to bring Trump on stage. Kimmel went on to have a good laugh at the introduction before joking:
“I guess those punches Rocky took to the head were real after all.”
Attacking Stallone’s description, the comedian added, “George Washington was the father of our country. Donald Trump is the father of Eric. Big difference there.” Although Stallone didn’t endorse Trump during the 2024 Election cycle, he proclaimed his love for Trump in 2016.
Jimmy Kimmel Refers To Donald Trump & Friends As ‘Judas’
Kimmel also poked fun at the viral photo of Trump, Elon Musk, RFK Jr., Donald Trump Jr., and House Speaker Mike Johnson. The foursome was seen eating McDonald’s on the politician’s private plane after attending the UFC 309 event on Saturday.
“After the fight, Trump loaded the whole ‘grab ’em by the posse’ onto his plane,” Kimmel remarked. “There’s a lot going on in this photograph. This is like the Last Supper, but everyone is Judas.” The three-time Oscar host referred to Johnson as “Little Elf on a Shelf” while mocking RFK Jr’s meal choice as the incoming United States Secretary of Health and Human Services.
“Health czar RFK with a quarter-pounder with cheese, 10 McNuggets, large fries, and a coke,” he mocked. “That’s what they call a farm-to-toilet meal.” Concluding his harsh monologue, Kimmel said, “Only Donald Trump would force his new health czar to eat McDonald’s. That’s what he does. These are subservience tests he gives. Mike Johnson has to go to a fight, RFK has to eat McDonald’s, Matt Gaetz has to date a woman he didn’t pay.”
