It’s a great day for the movie industry; we received the list of Oscar nominees and a teaser trailer for Jordan Peele’s Nope in one day! Good looking, universe! The mastermind behind critically acclaimed horror thrillers Us and Get Out ( the film that earned Peele his first Oscar) released a trailer via the official Twitter account for Monkey Paw Productions, Peele’s own production company. All the blerds wept for joy and started preparing for the 7/22/22 release date.

Here’s what new info we’re privy to, thanks to today’s tweet from Monkey Paw Productions.
There Will Definitely Be A Trailer For Nope During The Super Bowl
Until today, the release of a teaser trailer for Nope during Super Bowl Sunday has just been speculation. However, today’s trailer was released with the caption “This Sunday…from the mind of Jordan Peele,” which confirms we’re definitely getting a trailer for Jordan Peele’s third full-length horror film. This Super Bowl Sunday already looked promising for movie fanatics (like most Super Bowl Sundays), with blockbusters like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 being rumored to premiere trailers during football’s biggest night.
We Got A Small Glimpse Of The Movie (Finally)
Up until this point, all of the footage we had of Nope was a cryptic movie poster featuring a starry lit sky with a dark cloud floating above a mysterious town.

Today’s teaser trailer gave us a first look at actors Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun, all of which are listed on the movie’s poster.
Nope stars Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, and Barbie Ferreira, Michael Wincott, and Donna Mills. Not much has been revealed about the plot outside of it being considered a horror film. The premiere of Nope will be Jordan Peele’s third time writing, directing, and producing a full-length horror thriller. Make sure you tune in to the Super Bowl this Sunday. You’re not going to want to miss the first trailer for Nope premiering exclusively in theaters on 7/22/22.
