If you loved the anime beat-’em-up stylings of Jump Force, then you’re in luck.
As of today (Friday, November 15), two brand new characters are up for grabs as DLC – as well as a brand new stage.
Who are the two new Jump Force fighters, then?
Well, first, you have Naruto Shippuden‘s Madara Uchicha. In the Naruto franchise, Madara is a warrior who forms a bond with a rival clansman Hashirama Senju and eventually founds a village with him. However, when the two couldn’t agree on how to maintain peace, they eventually locked horns – resulting in Madara’s death. He would later be revived so he could exact his revenge.
If Bleach is more your thing, then maybe you’d prefer Toshiro Hitsugaya. The second character in this Jump Force DLC package, Hitsugaya is the captain in the Gotei 13’s ‘Tenth Division’, an army consisting largely of ‘Shinigami’ (gods of death or reapers of souls). He has white spiky hair and some brutal ice attacks to match his ‘do.
If you play as these characters, why not try them out on the brand new stage? You can now go mano-a-mano in One Piece‘s Whole Cake Island, the setting of a story arc of the same name from the show’s nineteenth season. As the name suggests, cakes are a recurring theme here.

Jump Force itself is a celebration of Weekly Shonen Jump‘s 50th anniversary. It’s no wonder that the game is packed full of a wide range of the publication’s characters from over the years. The inclusion of Toshiro and Madara in Jump Force shows developer Spike Chunsoft’s continued dedication to bringing these beloved characters to life.
