Kanye West and Kim Kardashian finally reached a divorce settlement on the 29th of November 2022. However, a source revealed to E ! News that the SKIMS founder was more interested in her children during the proceedings. Her concern was focused on the well-being and welfare of her four kids.
Kanye And Kim Kardashian Have Joint Custody Of Their Kids
The rapper and reality star received joint legal and physical custody of their four kids: North West, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago,4, and Psalm, 3.
According to the court documents, the Bound 2 rapper will pay Kim $200,000 every month for child support. This payment will cover half of the medical expenses, security, and educational fees of their kids.
An insider disclosed that everything The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, Kim, did was for the benefit of her kids amid the divorce settlement. Also, they might have joint custody of the kids but Kim spends more time with them. Kanye earlier admitted to this during a September Podcast appearance. Although the publication has reached out to Kim And Kanye’s lawyer, they are yet to receive any comment concerning this matter.
The Term Of The Divorce Came Two Years After Kim Filed For A Divorce
Per E! News, after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021, Kanye West refused to sign the divorce papers, which made the divorce procedures pending. At some point, the TV star shared her frustration back in May on Keeping Up With The Kardashians revealing that Kanye refused to sign the divorce papers.
During the episode on the show, Kim said, “I knew it had to happen because I knew it was not the right circumstance for me. But right now, I feel good.”
Finally, two years after Kim filed for a divorce, the term of the divorce is completed. Although it is yet to be signed by a judge it has been finalized.
