Kelly Ripa‘s 23-year-old daughter Lola Consuelos has fallen under fire on Instagram as she shares photos from a studio recording session. The singer, who made her music debut in 2022, updated her account earlier this month with candid photos of herself belting out beats in front of a mic. While many welcomed Lola’s photos as she adds to her music portfolio, others threw shade.
Lola, whose latest “The Watcher” single has proven a hit with fans, was harshly told that she’s basically a nepo baby by one fan. The user even said that Lola, whose vocals continue to stun fans, can’t “sing.” The “Paranoia Silverlining” hitmaker does not appear to have responded to the hateful remark. Lola is followed by over 299,000 on Instagram.

Wearing figure-hugging blue jeans and a cozy sweater top, Lola low-key flaunted her curvy figure.
Giving a nod to it being winter, the songstress wore a white knitted hat with pointed accents, sending out unicorn vibes as she kept her outfit unusual. Placing her hands on her waist in her opening slide, Lola gazed ahead, with further photos showing her singing and smiling. Some images also included her T-bar black shoes as she added coquette accents to her casual ensemble.
In a caption, Lola wrote: “She sings she strums.” Quick to leave a guitar and heart emoji was mom Kelly, 54. The talk show host shares her only daughter with husband Mark Consuelos.
Told It’s Her Mother’s Money’
While some fans supported Lola, others hated on her for being a celebrity kid. While former actress Kelly has a reported net worth of $120 million, Lola’s father Mark Consuelos is said to be worth $40 million.
“Mom’s money but still can’t sing,” the user said. The comment didn’t go unnoticed. Defending Lola, one user jumped in, saying: “Really???? Sounds tone Def and childish. Mom’s money can’t buy good singing.” Lola had, for years, been teasing her stellar vocals on her Instagram, although she didn’t make her career in music official until the 2022 release of her debut “Paranoia Silverlining” single.
Also unimpressed with the hateful comment was the user writing: “Her voice is beautiful!
If you don’t have something good to say, say nothing at all!”
Lola joins the list of celeb kids often alleged to have gotten a head start in their careers thanks to their famous parents. Others include Madonna‘s daughter Lourdes Leon and Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose Depp.
