Sources close to Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have denied claims that their split was because of infidelity. The duo was married for eleven years, and their marriage was blessed with four kids. It came as a shock to many when they filed for divorce early this month. Ever since the news of their divorce, there have been different versions of why their marriage hit the rock. Some claimed that their split was due to the financial woes they found themselves in. Others claimed that one of the estranged couples was involved in infidelity hence the divorce.
Zolciak And Biermann Denies Claims Of Infidelity
After the court processed the divorce paperwork on May 8, several rumors started swirling. The rumors circulating were that Zolciak and Biermann filed for a divorce because of infidelity and open marriage. However, a TMZ source to the ex-couple has debunked that claim, saying there was never a case of infidelity or open marriage.
Aside from the infidelity claims, there were rumors that their marriage crashed due to financial issues. However, an insider also proved that to be false, saying that money issues were not why the marriage crashed. The source added that financial strain could cause a problem in marriage, and it played a role, but that was not the reason for divorce.
Meanwhile, there were reports that the reality stars owed the IRS $ 1.1 million. This debt was accumulated from unpaid taxes, interest, and penalties from 2013, 2017, and 2018. They were also facing house issues after their Georgia mansion was closed severally.
The Couple Wants Custody Of Their Four Kids
After the divorce news, the Dont Be Tardy stars battle for child custody. They both requested full custody of their four kids, Kroy KJ jnr, 11; Kash, 10; and 9-year-old twins, Kaia and Kane. Biermann adopted Zolciak’s two kids from her previous marriage and wants custody of his kids.
Per Page Six, He requested sole legal and physical custody of his four biological kids while ignoring Zolciak’s two kids, Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, from her previous relationship. He left Brielle and Ariana out because they are now adults. Zolciak also filed requesting sole physical and legal custody of their kids. She wants to have the kids with her but will allow the NFL player to visit if he wants.
Meanwhile, a source revealed that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star Ki Zolciak has always wanted to split from her marriage to Biermann. However, she did not disclose her plans to anyone until she filed for divorce.
