The reality TV star and the actor have been dating for nearly two years. Of course, things appear to be getting serious between the duo. Kylie was even spotted on Timothee’s arm at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards. However, behind closed doors, Jenner may not be as confident as she seems when it comes to her romance with the actor.
According to Life and Style Magazine, Kylie Jenner is worried sick about the state of her relationship with Timothee Chalamet. The makeup mogul allegedly fears that she’ll let the Wonka star slip through her fingers if she’s not careful. This has led her to take some extreme measures to ensure that Chalamet is behaving himself. Especially when the couple are forced to be apart.
In addition to spending a lot of time apart due to their careers and Kylie’s family obligations, Timothee’s wandering eye is allegedly a big problem. Chalamet reportedly has a lot of female admirers. While Jenner is used to his adoring fans, she’s not thrilled about the prospect that they could capture his attention when she’s not around.
“She tries her best not to react to the fact that he’s known as a player amongst his friends, but of course it does get to her,” an insider tells the outlet. “It’s extra tough because he’s this huge movie star so it’s not just average women that he’s crossing paths with. He’s surrounded by gorgeous actresses and models. It’s impossible not to feel threatened.”

Things have gotten so bad that Jenner is said to have put some strict rules in place for Chalamet. One of which is that he must check in with her when they’re apart. Another is that he shares his location with her so that she can keep tabs on him.
“Kylie’s been coping with it by giving him strict rules, when they’re apart he has to check in with her and she’s even got him sharing his location so that she can keep track of where is,” the source added.
“Obviously, that’s not fool proof because he could easily leave his phone at home if he wanted to sneak around but it does give her some peace of mind. Still she’s living in a state of anxiety most of the time because she’s so worried about losing him.”
As previously reported, Kylie Jenner recently refused to walk the red carpet with Timothee Chalamet. Jenner allegedly didn’t want to take the spotlight off of her boyfriend during his big night. However, some fans believe that Kylie is making herself smaller to accommodate Timothee’s lifestyle and rising star. They believe that she shouldn’t be hiding her own fame and popularity to make him feel like the superior one in the relationship. However, the social media fan-favorite has appeared to continuously step out of the spotlight and allow the actor to shine during public events.
