While the dust of her sizzling ensemble from the luxury brand is yet to settle, the star ruffled the fashion world again with an iconic piece from another luxury brand. This time, the icon opted for a see-through leopard-print dress from Azzedine Alaia’s fall 1991 collection.

The over 3 decades old piece featured black velvet cups concealing her busts, and a coordinating skirt with ruffled hems. Kylie Jenner showed off her voluptuous curves in the figure-hugging vintage dress while on a lunch outing at the Bar des Prés, during the Paris Haute Couture Week. She paired the dress with black leather mules, also by Azzedine Alaia, and glam makeup.
The reality star, who wore her jet black curls in middle-parted loose waves posed for several photos in the vintage mini dress, looking flawless in all the shots. Kylie Jenner’s outfit was reminiscent of a similar look her big sister Kim Kardashian rocked back in 2019. However, unlike Kylie’s sheer mini dress, the SKIMS founder rocked the catsuit version, with velvet cups and black velvet bikini briefs breaking the sheer leopard-print fabric, as she turned heads at the Paris Fashion Week that year. The animal-print fit first broke fashion barriers when supermodel Naomi Campbell debuted it on the runway in the early nineties.

Unlike Naomi, Kim paired the vintage look with a black beret and sequined pumps, adding a seasonal touch to it. Fans quickly drew comparisons between the Kardashian sisters, debating who rocked the look better. Sharing a photo of Kim Kardashian donning the outfit in 2019, one Reddit user noted,
“I think I like it better as a dress.”
Another fan pointed out that Kylie’s looks would have “killed” if she had opted for open-toed heels instead. Netizens also commended how great the 27-year-old looked in the dress, describing her as a stunning beauty. While indeed the sisters have many Photoshop fails as a testament to their use of filters and heavy-editings, Kylie Jenner’s flawless appearance in a sheer dress on her Paris launch outing can’t be disputed.
