While many may greet this news with skepticism, it’s worth noting that NatetheHate has been a leaker for a decade, and many of his claims have proven accurate.

After stating the reveal date, Nate mentioned that Nintendo would focus solely on the hardware and not on games or software. He added that the company plans to showcase its software and games near the end of February or possibly in early March. He also predicted that something significant could happen in May, such as a hands-on preview, followed by the device’s official launch in June.
Besides predicting the Switch 2 reveal date, NatetheHate also mentioned that fans would likely get another Mario Kart game to accompany the new console’s release. There could also be a new 3D Mario game that would be released on this new device near the end of the year. He further predicted that an enhanced version of Metroid Prime 4 would be available on the Switch 2.
