The next big update for LEGO Fortnite, Brick Life, allows players to enjoy a good ol’ blocky life more peacefully. Instead of fighting Storm Crawlers or golems, players can own a plot of land, decorate their homes, purchase vehicles, and hunt for furniture. However, these endeavors will require money, and the only way to obtain it in LEGO Fortnite Brick Life is by getting any of the many jobs in the city. Here, we’ll guide you through every available occupation in Brick Bay.

All Jobs in LEGO Fortnite Brick Life

LEGO Fortnite Brick Life players can grab any of the following occupations:

  • Academy Student (Mourndale Academy)
  • Banker (Vaulted Value Propositions)
  • Bobom Milk Tea Bobarista (Bobom Milk Tea)
  • Cat Cafe Barista (Cozy Paws Cafe)
  • Cinema Usher (Watch-o-Plex)
  • Courier (North Pier)
  • Durrr Burger Line Cook (Durrr Burger)
  • Fortune Teller (Phaedra’s Fortune)
  • Personal Trainer (MeowSole’s Gym)
  • Security Officer (Vaulted Value Propositions)
  • Stable Hand (The Trot Lot)
  • Sushi Chef (RoboRoll Sushi)

One important thing to remember is that you can swap jobs freely. There isn’t a cooldown or a limit or anything like that. If you don’t like one job, simply head to another location and grab a new one.

Explaining the Job Mechanic

Priority Jobs Menu

There are two ways to get jobs in LEGO Fortnite Brick Life. The easiest one is waiting until 9:00 a.m. every day in the city. During that time period, all players will get two priority jobs on their phone app. This is an easy way to get a job, as it will show you two occupations that pay well that day. However, if you want to get a job without the app, you can head to any of the locations on the map to get hired.

Regardless of how you get your job, the next step is heading to the location. Every occupation will have different tasks and pay, the latter ranging from 500 to 2500. Once you arrive at the place, you must speak to the NPC who hires players for the job. They will also give you a short task you must complete. For instance, if you’re a banker, you might get told to grab money from the ATMs. If you’re a sushi chef, you’ll have to cook sushi or even place food in the conveyor belt. These tasks don’t have a time limit, and once you finish one, you must wait a few minutes to get a new one.

One last thing to keep in mind is that while priority jobs pay well, you can and should always have a permanent job. Our recommendation is to pick a job that’s close to your home. That way, you can earn some cash while being able to return to your house quickly to decorate. Still, there’s no penalty for swapping jobs, so choose the one you prefer the most and start racking up that blocky money for all your ventures.
