Lewis Capaldi might have to quit music to look after himself if he continues to suffer from intense Tourette syndrome.
Lewis Capaldi’s Tourette syndrome has been at the forefront of his fame, and fans do not mind. The Scottish native even gets all the support he needs from his devotees.
In February, while performing on stage, he began to twitch as he experienced an episode. Meanwhile, Capaldi was in the middle of his “Someone You Loved” song. Following the interference, his audience jumped to his rescue by singing the lyrics of his famous song.
Capaldi was diagnosed seven months after the syndrome became a thing. He realized the regular twitches and thought it was a degenerative disease.
Apart from support from fans, he has garnered support from a community of people who experience the syndrome. At the same time, he has been creating enlightenment about the disorder.
Singer Billie Eilish admitted she suffers the same thing but has a way of suppressing it. However, one downside to dealing with Tourette syndrome is that it could get intense.
Lewis Capaldi is already picturing ahead when things might get worse, and his desire then, will be to quit music.
