Thousands of beautiful homes have now been destroyed by the fires wreaking havoc on California’s Los Angeles area, and because of it, everyone’s fleeing to safe areas to take up residence for the time being. After evacuating their homes, loads of celebrities, like Dennis Quaid, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Michael Keaton, have been forced to stay either on some of their other properties or to seek shelter in hotel rooms, but it seems there’s not enough room for everyone.
Used to the lavish life that money and expensive mansions can offer, these A-listers are heading for the most expensive and luxurious hotels they can find, which just so happens to be the Hotel Bel-Air. Rooms at Bel-Air can range in price from $1,088 per night for a Superior room, all the way up to $18,000 per night for the Presidential suite. There’s a good chance that rooms will be taken up quickly and other A-listers will be left to find other means of shelter during the wildfires.
According to the Hotel Bel-Air’s website, it seems the only rooms available are much smaller than these celebrities are used to, costing only $8,000 and offering one King sized bed, an in-suite elevator and balcony, living room with French windows overlooking the gardens, and kitchen and dining room for guests if they choose to have them.
With over 40,000 acres of land affected by the wildfires and thousands of homes destroyed in the process, everyone seems to be struggling to find a safe place to go. Celebrities like Paris Hilton, Miley and Noah Cyrus, and several more have been forced to evacuate their homes and several others have been facing absolute heartbreak over the loss of their properties, and even loved ones. Furthermore, several of them have been doing everything they can to help those in need who have faced great losses due to the fires, and will continue to help as long as they can.
