Vertus, the formidable dragon-like boss of the challenging Guardian Raid in Lost Ark, can now be earned as an adorable Pet that can accompany players on their adventurers throughout Arkesia. The Vertus Pet is featured in four different color variations, including light blue Vertoro, golden Vertori, dark blue Vertorang, and purple Vertora. On top of their stunning designs, these baby dragons come equipped with their own unique animations to make them stand out from other Pets. To get the Vertus Pet in Lost Ark, companion collectors will need to participate in the game’s recent debut battle pass system, the Ark Pass.
Unlocking The Vertus Pet In Lost Ark
To unlock the Vertus Pet in Lost Ark, adventurers must reach Level 30 of the Premium rewards track. The Premium Ark Pass costs 1,500 Royal Crystals, amounting to roughly 15 USD, and offers a skip to Level 5 on the battle pass. Once players possess the Premium version and attain Level 30, they will receive the Vertus Pet Selection Chest.
Unfortunately, those who’ve decided to only participate in the Free rewards track of Lost Ark’s Ark Pass cannot acquire the Vertus Pet. On the other hand, the Premium Ark Pass is well-worth the purchase in crystals for those who frequently play the game, as the rewards include additional Fusion Materials, Honing Leapstones, and much more.
To reach Level 30 in the Ark Pass and obtain the Vertus Pet Selection Chest in Lost Ark, players will need to complete a variety of quests from repeatable Normal Missions and Season Missions. Normal Missions are quests with a weekly cap of 500 Ark Pass XP. The tasks include activities such as “Complete 3 Daily Una’s Tasks” for 30 XP and “Clear 2 Abyssal Dungeons” for 50 XP. As for Season Missions, these can only be completed once and include quests like “Attempt to Hone your Gear 20 Times” and “Obtain Adventure Island Rewards 3 times.” Once players have completed enough Normal and Season Missions in the Ark Pass, they will be able to attain Level 30.
Lost Ark is available exclusively on PC.
