A woman in New Orleans, Louisiana, was in the process of obtaining her new passport when she was told to remove her headband for the photo. However, that wasn’t possible, since the item was actually a headband wig. This realization led to laughter and an unorthodox solution.
TikTok user da_blackrose (Rose) shared the hilarious moment on TikTok. She is a mother and cosmetologist who often shares related content. The clip in question, however, became her second biggest ever, garnering 3 million views, 287,800 likes, and more than 4,700 comments.
The Louisiana woman began recording herself at her local post office and said that she was getting her passport. However, the post office lady said she couldn’t wear her headband. She added, “It’s a headband wig. So how am I supposed to take the picture?“
Rose clarified to the post office lady that she was unable to take the headband wig off. The lady understood and provided a solution: to put the hair in front of the headband.
“Say what now?” Rose asked.
The post office lady further explained, and Rose was sure it wasn’t going to work out, leading to a picture of her wearing an obvious wig. Both women continued to talk, laughing at the situation. Rose added, “So you understand my dilemma.”
Eventually, the Louisiana woman was directed by two post office ladies to tuck her headband wig in. She did, and they took a picture, which she showed to her followers.
