With Madden 23 scheduled for release on August 19, you will now be able to play your favorite team in the new and improved NFL sim. All teams are represented, so no matter what side you are on, there is something for everyone. Just in case you don’t know how to change your favorite team in Madden 23, we have prepared this guide for you.
Madden 23: How to Change Favorite Team
To change your favorite team, navigate to the Game Options by clicking on the settings button. There, you will find “Favorite Team” at the top. Now scroll through the list of available teams and choose the one you want. Yah! You can now play your favorite team while listening to a soundtrack of your choice.
The following is the full list of the teams available:
Under the settings button, you can also play around with the playbook options. This lets you change the difficulty ranges, clock management, gameplay assists, coin toss, and player sliders. You can enhance your Madden 23 experience by configuring these settings to suit your tastes further. Moreover, the NFL sim has the incredible option of recreating your favorite NFL moments. You can even tweak the outcome to get what you had hoped for!
Madden 23 also adds some AI tweaks, including player motivations, scouting, and player tagging. These are meant to make the game more interesting by increasing its depth. Arguably, the biggest of these is player motivations. As happens in real life, the team with the most money will get the best player. Player motivation also factors in ring chasing, playing potential, proximity to home, weather, state taxes, etc.
All these additions are strategic, as Madden 23 is looking to add more logic to everything in the sim, including trades, awards, and drafts. It seems that the franchise’s end goal is to provide a more realistic and competitive experience.
