Matthew Perry’s death is still a hot topic of conversation in Hollywood. The Friends star was found dead at his Los Angeles home in October 2023. Since that time, police have been investigating his passing. Perry’s cause of death was reported to be due to the effects of ketamine. However, it was unclear how he obtained the drug. Recently, it’s been revealed that Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, is being questioned in the actor’s death investigation. However, the facts may not be accurate.
According to Matthew Perry’s former girlfriend, Kayti Edwards, reports that the actor met Brooke Mueller in rehab are not true. Instead, she claims that they both met Charlie Sheen‘s ex-wife in 2006 at an AA meeting. She also went on to reveal that she and Mueller both dated Perry at the same time.
Matthew Perry and Brooke Mueller Dated Before His Death
“Brooke dated Matthew in 2006, at around the time I first started hanging out with Matthew. They definitely did not first meet initially in rehab. We all met in AA in 2006,” she told the U.S. Sun.
“She and I were seeing him at the same time, there was no girlfriend and boyfriend relationship – we just dated. “Him and Brooke never went out publicly and looked romantic. It was always in his house,” she added.
Edwards went on to admit that Perry and Mueller lost touch, but that they were both sober when they dated in 2006. However, she did claim that she believes that the duo may have reconnected in the last couple of years before the actor’s death.
Brooke Mueller has reportedly been questioned multiple times about her involvement with Matthew Perry. She even had her phone and computer taken by authorities for further investigation. She’s allegedly been cooperative with the police and has hired lawyers.
“It’s tough to say or know exactly what her role is [in Matthew’s death], but she’s adamant she had nothing to do with that,” a source previously told In Touch Weekly of Mueller.
Meanwhile, Brooke Mueller has stayed quiet about Matthew Perry’s death investigation. However, fans are waiting to find out what, if any, involvement she may have had.
