For over 25 years, Bethesda hasn’t released any new IPs to its repertoire. However, the introduction of Starfield marks a massive occasion for the company. This has seen a wave of hype build over the new game since its announcement in 2018. As Starfield’s release date approaches, many players are starting to wonder about the specifics of the new series. This includes Starfield’s voice cast behind its many characters. Although the complete cast hasn’t been announced yet, plenty of familiar voices have already been heard. Here are some of the voice actors you’ll meet in Starfield and a bit of their history.
Craig Sechler Returns as the Adoring Fan
Interestingly, out of all the voice actors revealed so far, the first was Craig Sechler. Players will know Craig Sechler from his work in many previous Bethesda games including Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Skyrim. In Starfield Sechler will be reprising his role as the Adoring fan, which originally appeared in Oblivion. After becoming the Grand Champion of Oblivion’s arena, the Adoring Fan will become a follower/groupie for you. With plucky mannerisms and a bit of an anachronistic personality, the NPC has quickly grown to be a fan-favorite character. Now with their return to Starfield, the Adoring Field will follow the player relentlessly if their character has the Hero Worshipped trait. Of course, it’ll be great to hear the iconic voice of Craig Sechler once Starfield’s release date approaches.
Elias Toufexis as Sam Coe
Next up, Elias Toufexis will be lending his voice to the new IP as well. This Starfield voice actor will play the character Sam Coe. Sam is a member of Constellation, the last group of space explorers. On their official Twitter, Starfield describes the character as, “…an excellent pilot, and an even better dad!” Additionally, the character seems to be a romanceable option. Elias Toufexis has appeared in plenty of video games and television series, including some Bethesda games. Some notable roles that Elias has had, include Grand Zealot Brian Richter and Cog Fallout 4: Far Harbor and Adam Jensen in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Barry Wiggins as Barratt
Next, Starfield has also revealed that Barry Wiggins will also join the cast as Barrett. Barrett will be one of the first members of Constellation that you meet on your journey. Barrett has an inquisitive mind that has driven him to explore the far reaches of the universe. Players may know Barry Wiggins from shows like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Additionally, the voice actor has appeared in video games like Mafia III.
Emily O’Brien as Sarah Morgan
Emily O’Brien is next to appear as a voice actor for Starfield and will play Sarah Morgan. Sarah Morgan is the strong-willed leader of Constellation and a veteran of the Colony War. Through her passion and dedication to Constellation’s cause, Sarah has earned the respect of her peers, which we will see more of closer to Starfield’s release date. Emily O’Brien herself has had an illustrious videogame voice acting career. She has appeared in many franchises, including God of War: Ragnarok, Exoprimal, Gotham Knights, and NieR.
Cissy Jones as Andreja
Andreja is the newest recruit of Constellation and will be performed by the Starfield voice actor Cissy Jones. Andreja hails from the farthest reaches of the Settled Systems. In terms of the group, Andreja is a bit of a mysterious figure, who the others know little about. However, at the same time, this mysterious independence can also be one of her greatest weaknesses. You may have heard of Cissy Jones from video games like Firewatch and shows like The Owl House.
Carlos Valdes as Matteo Khatri
Second to last, we have Carlos Valdes, who will join Starfield’s voice actors as Matteo Khatri. Matteo is the Constellation’s theologian. The character is extremely curious about understanding the history of humans and how they fit into the grand scheme of life. Through every Artifact he collects, Matteo is more and more certain of a higher, divine power. Carlos Valdes is most well-known for his work as Cisco Ramon on CW’s The Flash.
Dana Gourrier as Noel
Finally, Dana Gourrier will be voicing Starfield’s Noel. The youngest of the Constellation, Noel is Sarah Morgan’s student and a brilliant scientist. After reading about Sarah Morgan’s work in a scientific journal, Noel knew her purpose was to join the crew and research alongside them. Dana Gourrier has appeared in extremely successful films, such as Django: Unchained, and The Hateful Eight.
