Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” lyric change happened at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango concert. Instead of singing “I ain’t no size two,” the pop star changed the line to “I got some new boobs.” The update comes just two months after Trainor announced that she had gotten breast augmentation surgery to achieve “the boobs of my dreams.”
In a March interview, Trainor told People that she wanted to do the procedure since she was a teenager. However, it wasn’t until she reached her thirties that she felt ready to go through with it. After feeling insecure over her breasts for years, Trainor finally became inspired to reach out to plastic surgeons when her breasts started to change following several weight fluctuations and the birth of her two children. Since getting the operation done, Trainor said she’s never felt more confident with herself. “It’s like the best decision I ever made,” she told the publication.
While Meghan Trainor is over the moon about her surgery, fans have mixed feelings about it. Considering so many of her songs are about loving yourself just the way you are, they can’t help but feel that her recent surgery and lyric change go against that message. “She used to stand for the complete opposite of whatever it is she has become,” someone said. “She should NOT be singing this song no more,” another wrote. “All that body positivity was just bullsh*t,” read a third comment.
Others defended the singer by saying she never stopped being body positive. Since Trainor is all about confidence, they said she should do whatever she wants to make herself feel good about her body. Embracing Her New Body

During an episode of her Workin’ On It podcast in November, she said she had gotten botox on her forehead before. Since it went well, she decided to try an injection on her lips to make them look fuller. Unfortunately, that operation didn’t go as smoothly since Trainor was no longer able to smile properly. Although she regretted it, the surgery taught her two huge lessons. First, Trainor learned to appreciate her natural smile more. Second, she realized how important it is to do her research before getting such a big procedure done.
Since she waited years to finally go ahead with her breast surgery, it seems the lesson really stuck with her.
