Call of Duty HQ offers new items every week via the Weekly Challenges, most of which have been the Aftermarket Parts and Conversion Kits that won’t usually affect the meta. However, MW3 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Week 6 is a special one for the Reclaimer 18 meta and all the players that adore the akimbo shotgun loadouts in CoD.
Posted by Modern Warzone on X, the Reclaimer 18 is about to get a new Aftermarket Part that makes it akimbo in MW3 and Warzone. The footage is apparently in Warzone Mobile, and it’s assumed that this attachment or conversion kit will join the console/PC Warzone as soon as the weekly challenges drop on Wednesday.
Now this is the second meta akimbo shotgun that we have in Warzone and MW3. Recently we had the addition of the JAK Wardens conversion kit for Lockwood MK.2 for dual wielding it as a shotgun. However, the akimbo Reclaimer 18 is going to be way stronger due to its semi-auto mechanism.
In the video the player has to two-shot the opponent in close to mid-range, meaning that it’d be 4 shots for a knock in Warzone. And if that’s the case, akimbo Reclaimer 18 dominates against every single SMG in the game up to probably 15m range. That’d be 2x worse if you use the Dragon’s Breath ammunition to blind and burn the opponent as you shoot.
After the fall of JAK Wardens Lockwood MK.2 with MW3 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, Reclaimer 18 is already the best shotgun in both games. However, it won’t be long until they decide that our good old Spas-12 has to be nerfed to the ground with the Season 5 update.
Call of Duty: MW3 and Warzone are currently available to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
