Developer studio 4A Games, best known for its rendition of the highly-acclaimed Metro: Last Light, has teased a potential new VR game through their social media channels. Could this be the new title that Metro fans have been waiting three years for?
What are we making, well here is a hand to work it out. More here: https://t.co/XrugugxbQH #4AGames pic.twitter.com/HflF3Z0sWw

The studio has released a series of tongue-in-cheek screenshots of their work-in-progress, which included giving their fans a literal hand in figuring out what’s in the works.
While the exact context is still exceedingly mysterious, the screenshots do give up some clues as to what is in the pipeline for 4A Games. One shot shows a hand gripping what appears to be a gun, while the other seems to show some kind of bar – perhaps some kind of heads-up display or health indicator. In both pictures, however, the look and feel of whatever is going on at 4A Games is definitely taking place in some kind of futuristic world.
However, there may have been a third, less intentional reveal hidden in a 360-degree photo of their workstations, seen above. You might immediately think that something highly sensitive was caught on one of the screens, but the reality is a little more subtle. In the corner of the office, there appears to be some kind of countdown timer – a timer that David Lozada of Keen Gamer tells us will end at the same time the Oculus Connect 3 Conference is intended to begin.
Eagle-eyed observers would also spot a fair few Oculus Rift VR devices in the background of the photo as well. Could this have been an accidental reveal of behalf of 4A Games? Or was this an intentional ploy in order to add a little mystery to what is already a mysterious development process? We’ll have to wait until the Oculus Connect 3 Conference on 5 October in San Jose.
