Like any other Souls game, the traveling in Lords of the Fallen can seem excruciatingly dangerous. But sooner or later, you will get the hang of it and begin the farming and trading phase in pursuit of the best items. One of the first and best merchants in Lords of the Fallen is Molhu, a slightly scary but friendly creature. This NPC has a wide range of goods, from rare consumables and spells to the best boss gear available after meeting several requirements. Unfortunately, it only lives in the Umbral Realm, but finding him won’t be difficult.
How To Find Molhu Merchant in Lords of the Fallen
To find Molhu Merchant in Lords of the Fallen, you must get to the Main Hall in Skyrest Bridge, one of the first locations you will visit after the prologue. Next, you need to go east from Pieta NPC, pass Nathaniel and Exacter Dunmire, and before reaching the Vestige of Ethryg, turn into the doorway on your left. As you go up, you will see more and more butterflies, and there will be even more of them in the middle of the room. You can see this NPC using the Umbral Lamp, but you must go to the Umbral Realm to begin interaction.
Using Molhu in Lords of the Fallen
Speaking about such NPC as Molhu, it is impossible to overestimate its benefits for the player. One of the essential roles that this NPC performs is to inform the player about what the Umbral Lamp is. In addition, thanks to Molhu, you can repeatedly improve this item by inserting Umbral Eyes into it and giving various bonus characteristics, from additional Soulflay Charges to increasing your Dread Resistance.
However, this is only part of this NPC work since it is an excellent merchant. When you first become acquainted with it, you will be able to buy the following items:
- Minor Wither Salts – 250 Vigor
- Umbral Orb – 500 Vigor
- Lingering Despair – 500 Vigor
- Charm of Fortune’s Sight – 650 Vigor
- Eye of Vengeance – 1,000 Vigor
- Umbral Scouring – 1,000 Vigor
- Vestige Moth – 1,500 Vigor
- Vestige Seed – 2,500 Vigor
- Rebirth Chrysalis – 8,000 Vigor
Additionally, a little later, you can find the rare Bowl of Revelations and give it to Molhu. This decision will unlock several more helpful items in its store. But more importantly, after this, you can bring Remembrances of the defeated bosses to the Molhu and buy their equipment, weapons, and even spells. To do this, you will need a lot of Umbral Scouring, a currency dropped from Bosses and Reapers, when you help players in co-op mode and after watching Stigmas. So if you are willing to spend quite a lot of time, you can get everything that the bosses you met had at their disposal.
