Monster Hunter Rise How To Get Firecell Stone
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Firecell Stone is a Rarity-6 crafting material in Monster Hunter Rise used to forge a wide variety of High-Rank weapons and armor, including armament upgrades. For instance, all weaponry of the Redwing Set requires Firecell Stones to be made at the Smithy. Likewise, Hunters must procure this resource to upgrade any of their Kamura armaments. As for armor sets, Firecell Stone is needed for parts of the Chrome Metal and Remobra Sets, but players will need several stones to make the complete Utsushi Set. Accordingly, knowing where to find and farm Firecell Stones in Monster Hunter Rise is essential knowledge for late-game gathering.

Farming Firecell Stones in Monster Hunter Rise

Firecell Stone Location in Monster Hunter Rise

The only location where Hunters can farm Firecell Stones in Monster Hunter Rise is the Lava Caverns, a winding cave system divided into searing hot areas with flowing lava and serene water springs. Firecell Stones are gathered from High-Rank Mining Outcrops, both blue and white.

In High-Rank Lava Caverns, the white Mining Outcrops are more likely to hold Firecell Stones, while Master Rank’s blue nodes can also produce the stones. The yield from every Mining Outcrop is random, meaning that players can get lucky, receiving one to multiple Firecell Stones during a single run. On the other hand, some may experience mining expeditions where a single stone doesn’t drop for them. Nevertheless, perseverance is key to acquiring this rare resource. A good mining route would be to start from the main base camp and head from zone 1 to 4. Next, ascend to the upper portion of 5 and descend below to 10, 9, and then 6. Cut through the ridge between 6 and 8, traveling towards 11, with the final destination being the secret area of the Lava Caverns.

To find the hidden area in the Lava Caverns, go to the northeasternmost point on the map. Search for a hole in the wall and crawl through it to find a blue Mining Outcrop. Look up to see another opening, and use the Wirebug to climb inside. In this hidden location in Monster Hunter Rise, Hunters can find several Mining Outcrops with a high chance of dropping Firecell Stones, but some Wirebug parkour is required to reach their elevated spots. If this gathering route sounds too troublesome, players can also complete the High-Rank quests “The Lava Caverns Sweep” and “Can’t Kill It with Fire” for a slight chance to receive a Firecell Stone as a reward in Monster Hunter Rise.

Monster Hunter Rise is available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
